Secret Yoga and Sensing Spaces

photo 4As designers we are well aware of the power of the spaces you inhabit  to change your mood. An innovative, well thought out space tailored to a specific client can be a revelation. A wonderful, ergonomically designed space uplifts and invigorates, turning a house into a home. So we were keen to visit the Secret Yoga Club at the Royal Academy of Art’s Sensing Spaces: Architecture Reimagined exhibition last week. The exhibition explores the effect built spaces have on our senses through a series of breathtaking an inspirational installations by some of London’s top architectural practices, and conducting a yoga class beneath the installations’ ethereal silhouettes seemed inspired.

We highly recommend both the Secret Yoga Club and the Royal Academy’s Sensing Spaces exhibition if you’re looking for a refreshing retreat from a busy schedule or some truly surprising new design inspiration.
