Ralph Lauren Home Spring Collection

RL5As part of this year’s London Design Week we were invited to Ralph Lauren’s launch of their Spring collection, celebrated with a champagne brunch in their stunning Fulham Road store. Events like this are what make Design Week one of the most exciting and inspiring times of year, and we thought it was only fair to bring our readers along with us for a sneak peak at the new range.

RL12RL1We were greeted at the door with breakfast canapés (pure genius) and invited in to view the new collections, freshly-squeezed OJ in hand. The Spring collections evoke the traditional aesthetic Ralph Lauren is famed for, but with a lighter than light colour palette and a Californian beach house twist.

RL11RL7The new lighting collection featured simple pieces rendered in stainless steel, which more than a touch of old Hollywood glamour reminiscent in their utilitarian shapes.

RL9RL3The emphasis was definitely on simple shapes and chic home accessories at Ralph Lauren this season, and the collection featured several new dinnerware designs (our favourite was this porcelain and raw wood offering) and natural accessories like this crystal paperweight.

RL4RL8RL6Despite a modernised, lighter aesthetic this season, the Spring collection still featured the stunning luxury finishes we’ve come to expect from Ralph Lauren. It featured a genius coffee and wine stain proof which couch (top), summery chunky wicker armchairs and a rainbow of pure cashmere cable knit bedding.

What do you think of the collection? Can you see yourself injecting some sunny California chic into your own home?
